Your data, your house.

Last updated · 29 April 2026

This page describes how Ashwini collects, stores, and uses information. We treat your family’s health records like the private documents they are. We never sell them. We never advertise against them. We never share them with third parties without your explicit consent for a specific purpose.

What we collect

  • The email and name you provide when you create an account.
  • The medical documents (PDFs, images) you upload, and the structured data we extract from them.
  • The vitals, symptoms, and medication adherence you log.
  • Standard server-side request logs (IP, user agent, route, timing) for security and debugging.

Where it lives

Records live in a Postgres database on infrastructure under our control. Documents are stored on disk on the same server. Backups are encrypted at rest. We do not replicate your records to third-party providers.

AI processing

When you use AI features (Ask Ashwini, Explain My Lab, weekly narrative, OCR post-processing), we send only the minimum context needed to Groq, our LLM provider. We do not send your name, email, or document files. Groq does not retain prompts for training per their published policy.

Your rights

  • Export all your records as JSON at any time.
  • Delete your account, which permanently deletes your records and backups within 30 days.
  • Correct any record we hold about you.
  • Limit how we process your data — for example, you can disable AI features in Settings.
